FINANCE DIRECTOR $78K
The ideal candidate will lead our Accounting, Finance and Information Technology Team and manage financial procedures, tax strategies, and reporting requirements of multiple companies. Will also direct all audit activities by internal and external sources to ensure internal control, maintain compliance with financial agreements and be responsible for the control and safeguard of various resources to increase financial performance. Ensure accurate and timely delivery of internal financial statements, monthly managerial reports and other reports as requested by management and the board. Ensure monthly financial close process is in line with standard industry best practices and effectively support desired managerial reporting. Manage relationship with external audit, coordinate preparation of external audit materials and external financial reporting to banks and investors. Develop and implement sound practices to minimize audit and tax exposure, key resource for all financial, accounting and tax related matters in support of business decisions. Oversee key financial and operational processes. Evaluate financial and operational performance and make suggestions to continually improve efficiency, effectiveness and improve system utilization. Develop, maintain and continuously improve, in cooperation with management, tracking and reporting mechanisms that enable the identification and resolution of issues and the improvement of profitability. Assist in the development and implementation of goals, policies, priorities, and procedures relating to financial management, budget, accounting and human resources. Establish internal controls for financial systems and develop procedures to improve controls covering costing, accounting, timekeeping, payroll, inventory, property, and other related areas. Directly supervises employees in the accounting/finance and human resources departments. Fulfills supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training employees; planning, assigning, directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Desired Qualities

- 10 years of progressive accounting experience primarily in job-related companies with a mix of large and small organization experience.
- Strong cost accounting background. Ability to interact with personnel at all levels of the organization from shop floor to board level.
- Experience with ERP systems and multi-site environments.
- Able communicator and skilled at identifying opportunities to increase profitability.
- MBA and or CPA.

SVP is a top leadership position. Personal responsibility includes the growth, profitability and team staffing of a portfolio of accounts. Shared responsibility includes the overall management, growth, profitability and reputation of the agency. Consumer Lending VP has common responsibilities as: ensure the delivery of a consistent brand message to determine consumer preferences for communication channel and content. Review existing company communications, modify as necessary to ensure the delivery of a consistent brand message. Create, design, implement, measure, analyze, and improve consumer communications to positively influence consumer payments. Work with the markets to develop marketing strategies to improve company profitability. Develop an in-depth understanding of consumer preferences, understand the key drivers of consumer payment and evaluate PRA’s position relative to competitors.
